Go Knights!
Carlingford Knights is the newest rugby club in Ireland and we are delighted to be a partner of the Mini-Knights rugby team.
Every Saturday morning between 50-70 children aged 5-12 take to their local sports field, working up a sweat and having fun. It’s the first rugby club in Carlingford however it is certainly not left behind when it comes to rugby fraternity. Rob and Dave Kearney are both Carlingford natives with Devon Toner also having strong links with the village. Their achievements with Leinster and Ireland have inspired locals to kick start the club, with attendances growing week on week.
It’s the first sponsorship exercise that HealthCo has taken part in and we certainly wish to support sustainable healthy community initiatives. We hope the club only goes from strength to strength and look forward to seeing the next generation of Rob Kearney’s pull on the green of Ireland.
Training takes place on Saturday mornings 10am-11am at The Foy Centre, Carlingford.
Age groups are 12-11, 10-8, 7-6 & U5’s
You don’t have to register to have your kids try it out, so just have a go!
